Shelly Rewinkle opened the doors to Grand in 2004 with a vision of creating a fun, hip and energetic salon dedicated to individual style and seamless customer service. A California native and longtime Denver resident, Shelly brings her warm personality and passion for customer care to Denver’s favorite young style boutique.
Shelly has worked in the beauty industry since 1989. Prior to opening Grand, Shelly’s career took her to Denver’s Oxford Club, Luxe and Crush salons. Her expert training in cut, color and relaxers comes from Aveda, Phytologie, Bumble & bumble, American Crew and MOP.
Shelly and her staff believe that each client’s experience is vital to the success of Grand Salon: every client, every day. From a stress-melting shampoo and scalp massage, to an open and insightful stylist consultation, to the slammin’ final result … the Grand staff is dedicated to client

| Jessica Brace
Jessica’s career path was influenced at an early age by her mother and her grandmother, who were both hairdressers. Her training began in 1997 at Denver’s Aveda Institute. Since then she has trained and worked at several local salons, and has happily found a home at Grand. She’s received education and training from Toni & Guy, Schwarzkopf, L’Oreal, and American Crew. “I’ve always worked at salons that encouraged team building, set goals and had good morals,” she says. “As a result, I’ve always felt like family with my co-workers.” |

| Andrea Hunt
Glamour, creativity, trend and constant change inspired Andrea to get into the beauty industry in 1995. Her training with L’Oreal, Phillip Wilson, Bumble & bumble and Phyto has taught her to cater to the beauty needs of anyone. Andrea and her work have been featured in 5280 magazine, Elle magazine and on A Makeover Story. “I love to laugh with my clients and have a great time at work every day,” she says. “Oh, and I never run late!” |

| Rebecca Jarboe
Rebecca’s passion for hairstyling began at a very early age, styling her Barbies’ hair alongside her favorite aunt. (They all had beautiful up-dos.) Later, in beauty school, Rebecca remembers, “I knew I had something special when my instructor wanted me to cut her hair.” Rebecca’s first boss, who hailed from Paris, was a great inspiration and taught her the true art of hairstyling. Since then, her career has led her to world-class cities, with education through Vidal Sassoon, Yosh, Vivienne Mackinder and many others. Over the years, she has been a hairstylist and make-up artist for video, television, and countless photo shoots, working with some of the best artists in the industry. She also teaches cut and color classes through various assistant programs. |

| Lori Platte
Lori has been a licensed hairdresser since 1986 and co-owned a salon in Boulder, Colorado for 10 years. Through continued education with Aveda, Toni & Guy, Schwarzkopf, L’Oreal, Bumble and bumble and Phyto, and years of experience, she's honed her skills as a stylist and colorist. "I specialize in healthy, natural looking styles that compliment my clients’ features and lifestyle,” she says. |

Jessica was inspired to become a hairstylist the first time she saw a copy of Vogue magazine. From that moment she knew she would work in the fashion industry. Jessica and her work have been featured in InStyle and Allure, and 5280 magazine honored her as Denver’s top colorist (editors’ choice) in its 2007 Top of the Town issue. “I value loyalty, honesty, and integrity,” she says. “And I recognize my parents as my heroes.” |

As a network educator for Bumble and bumble, Mary has unique insight into hair care and enthusiasm for finding the perfect style and color for every individual client. Her talents, technique and vision come from years of experience, and her personable nature puts clients at ease. |

April is passionate about coloring, cutting, and styling hair. She believes as a beauty therapist that translation and communication are key to building a client-stylist relationship. Whether it’s your first visit or your 55th, she says, a picture is worth a thousand words. “And…if you catch me on an especially grand day, I might just be talking like a pirate!” she says. Arrrr! |

Laura originally came from the Land of 10,000 Lakes, but has recently fallen in love with Denver. At a young age, Laura trained with the national Redken team. She’s had the opportunity to work with many celebrities (her favorite being Ozzy). Laura's passion was passed down from her grandfather, who owned a barber shop. Since embarking on her career in 2003, Laura has drawn style-seekers with her charm, laughter and dedication to providing personal flair for all. |

| Kathryn Tighe “Thank you for calling Grand Salon. This is Kathryn. How may I help you?” Kathryn grew up in Denver helping with her family’s business, managed a restaurant after high school, and is now happy to spend her days at Grand Salon. “I love watching people enter our door feeling maybe a little blah and leaving feeling pampered and beautiful,” she says. Whether it’s booking your next appointment, sharing product advice or feeding your parking meter, Kathryn keeps the Grand machine going! |
